CashioApp Exploiter Reaches out to Return the Funds
Within hours of the heist, the exploiter posted a message in an Ethereum transaction. He stated that he would return stolen funds to those who had less than $100,000 in the affected liquidity pools. To be concise, liquidity pools allow trading on decentralized exchanges, where hodlers lock their funds in a certain trading pair and earn interest on the locked crypto.
